Redbird is an independent production company based in Winchester, and run by Karen Gilchrist and Hilary Durman. We're a small and friendly team, and we've been making programmes for the past 20 years.

Karen Gilchrist
Karen is director of Redbird, which she founded with Hilary Durman in 1991.

Born in Morocco, Merieme Addou graduated from Mohammed V University with a degree in Law. She lives and works in Rabat as freelance correspondent for Radio D-W. She is also a freelance Producer for Camino Media, a Moroccan/Spanish production company.

Ted Evans is a film-maker, editor and director. He is working with Redbird on Deaf Sisterhood and Channel of Dreams, as well as our Royal Academy of Engineering-funded collaborative project with The Freewheelers Theatre Company.
